Container loading supervision is a crucial step for importers to ensure that the correct cargo is delivered. Before the cargo is loaded into the container, the inspector conducts a visual inspection to verify that the items and quantities are correct. The packing status of the cargo is also inspected, along with the condition of the containers. The container number and seal number are recorded in the CLS report.
The cargo is loaded into the container under the inspector's supervision, following the customer's requirements (if applicable). The inspector witnesses the closing of the container doors and ensures they are sealed. General photos of the packing and the products will be taken by the inspector.
Typically, the following items are included in Weinspection's CLS inspection report:
● Merchandise information for cargos loaded into each container, including item number, lot quantity, pallet quantity, and carton quantity
● Condition of each container
● Container number and seal number
● Time of loading
● Defects, remarks, and observations detected during loading supervision
A draft report is issued to the factory once the CLS inspection is completed. Weinspection guarantees that the formal report will be delivered to the customer within 24 hours of the inspection's completion.
